The Blistering Wind was a Union-class DropShip, in service to the Draconis Combine as of December 3150 under Captain Hidori Sato, attached to the Hikage and its Commander Sho-sho Hisao Ikeda.[1]
The Blistering Wind was part of a Draconis Combine taskforce which went to Northwind in December 3150, in order to assist the Capellan Confederation invasion. During this time it was subject to a bombing in orbit by Republic of the Sphere Ghost Knight Maxwell Cheng, while undercover as a Capellan agent, designed to split the alliance between the two invading powers.[2]
The Blistering Wind was damaged, but not destroyed, in this incident.[1]
