The Blue Phoenix Society was an organization created by fifty five nobles of the Lyran Alliance, Glen Lear among them, created to aid planets that suffered during the Jihad, trying to reach the places the Lyran Alliance had deemed lower priority and help those people, letting the Alliance do the big projects.
Glen Lean, well-known for his humanitarian efforts, said he had already five million Kroner in pledges from across the Alliance and another ten million Kroner in supplies, and wanted to raise another five million Kroner the year.
In order to have this founding operational, he was trying to have the Society up and running before the end of the year.[1]
