Bonn Mekarmorwerks was developing the HSR-400-D Hussar variant for the Com Guards when ComStar opened their archives in 3052. The name and context suggests Bonn Mekarmorwerks was a BattleMech manufacturer, presumably located on Terra (and possibly named for the terran city of Bonn).
Overview[edit]
After the ComStar Schism in the early 3050s, Bonn Mekarmorwerks sold the rights to the Hussar to Coventry Metal Works. The sale included plans for both the HSR-200-D as well as the under-development 400-D variant.
In 3060, the company had apparently come under Word of Blake control, and was producing the HSR-600-D for Militia forces.[1]
