Bowen Kincaid was the estranged son of Baron Oliver Kincaid.[1]

History[edit]

Bowen was just a boy when he and the rest of the Kincaid family became a pariah of the military and Marik Court when his father, Baron Oliver Kincaid, was dishonorably discharged from the Free Worlds Guards. Bowen was kicked out of the Princefield Military Academy and barred from reenlisting with the military as a retaliation by the League for his father's actions. Bowen's life dissolved into isolation and uncertainty, and as a result turned to a life in the black market. His father looked down on his business dealings and Bowen always blamed his father for the loss of life he could have had.[1]

When Oliver Kincaid passed away in 3023, his sister Kate wanted to fulfill one of their father's final requests and see that the family's famed Archer got bequeathed to Jake Mason, the son of the late Nikolai Mason whom Oliver served following his dismissal from the FWL military. Bowen, on the other hand, believed his father deserved neither dignity nor honor in death and wanted to see the Agincourt—the last vestige of their heritage—destroyed.[1]

The whereabouts of the Agincourt had been lost with time but possible locations were mentioned in his father's notes. Bowen made a ton of C-bills selling fake coordinates on the black market, using the funds to contract out the Waco Rangers' reserve battalion on a short-term basis to fend off his sister and any other pursuers until he found the 'Mech. Operating under the name "Bowen's Arrow," his forces were late arriving at a decommissioned base on Bernardo where it was once stored, encountering strong resistance from Nik's Cavaliers and forced to withdraw. Luckily for him, the Agincourt wasn't there but stored in a city on Berenson, where Bowen's forces were able to set up a forward operating base and dig in before his sister and Jake Mason could arrive. Still, they had no luck finding the 'Mech on their own or holding off the Cavaliers' advance. When the Agincourt was finally discovered in a hidden 'Mech bay, Bowen hot dropped to its location in a final attempt to destroy it, ultimately dying in the clash when he refused to stand down.[1]
