Basic Information[edit]
The Branson Brewery League is one of the many small leagues in Solaris. BBL is located in Rankar's Deep, situated in Xolara: the outlying areas of Solaris City.[1]
All fights are sanctioned by the Solaris Gaming Commission and the Lyran Alliance Gaming Board.[2]
Installations[edit]
The BBL owns several warehouses that set aside for the BBL teams for their 'Mech storage and repairs.[3]
History[edit]
The BBL was created in 3056, and Branson Brewery, one of Solaris's best breweries, has been the sole sponsor during the league's lifetime.[2]
The first year saw six Stables competing in three divisions, with Jason Wilson winning the individual championship and the Snake Skinners Stables claiming the team title. At its height in 3064, there were twenty stable teams competing in six divisions and two conferences. Shan Kaloo won the individual championship that year, besting Lew Baden in a three-hour Championship slugfest that is fondly remembered to this day.[2]
Eighteen were competing in the BBL before the Word's invasion,[2] but the Word of Blake invasion halted all competition for over a decade.[2]
For a while it seemed the league would not come back as after the Jihad all rebuilding efforts went into Solaris City, but once money started to flow again, and once Branson Brewery completed the rebuild of their brewery and had reestablished its brand,[2] the BBL went back to business in 3086.[1]
In 3086, the year of the comeback, twelve stables were competing with Class Two, Three, Four and Five Divisions.[2] The Stables were: Black Eagles Stables, Black Ronin Stables, Broken Chains Stables, Kroner Kings Stables, People's Will Stables, Red Jians Stables, Regulus Wrath Stables, Star Rangers Stables, Stone Fists Stables, Sun Runners Stables, Swords Stables and Wyren Claws Stables.

Ranking[edit]
The League has its own global Top Twenty Ranking that uses the same Solaris Games designations (Class, Two, Three, Four and Five),[1] and also internal Class Rankings.[4] Fights can end with victory, defeat and even a draw (draw combats are those that exceed the time limit or matches that the judges consider a draw, like dual KOs). The time limit is only in place for regular fights.[2]
Division Champions[edit]
The Class Champion was the MechWarrior leading the Division at the end of the Season.[citation needed]
Individual Champions[edit]
The exact way the global Individual Champion is determined is not explained, so it is not known how the championship matches are arranged.[citation needed]
