Brian "Colorado" Bunch was a former mercenary and later an Arena Gladiator on Solaris in the Reaches BloodSport circuit.
History[edit]
Brian Bunch was a former mercenary in the Broadstreet Bullies before he was kicked out for "excessive violence." He arriving on Solaris in 3064 and started fighting in the Reaches BloodSport circuit, where he made a name for himself.[1]
Though he was known as a deadly urban fighter, Bunch lost his first 'Mech on Equatus fighting the Word of Blake invasion in 3068. He was a dispossessed for a very short time. He had quite a lot of money in off-planet accounts (thanks to incredible luck with casino dice) and used it to purchase a new 'Mech and have it smuggled to Solaris.[1]
During the Jihad, he attracted several warriors from Fitzhugh Stables and formed the Band of Nine that he led from a small headquarters outside Mantraa. He started collaborating with the Solaris Home Defense League, sharing intelligence on Word of Blake operations.[1]
BattleMechs[edit]
Brian Bunch piloted a custom Stinger named Cam which was destroyed in 3068. The following year, he was able to purchase an FLE-19 Flea that he named Bruin and painted black-and-gold.[1]
