Cadha Jaffray was a member of Northwind Highlanders and the executive officer of the Grey Watch Regiment in 3145.[1]

Personal History[edit]

Early Years[edit]

Cadha Jaffray was the granddaughter of the legendary Highlander Loren Jaffray, and commanded the First Kearny Highlanders briefly, before the Republic of the Sphere absorbed them, during the chaos caused by the Blackout.[2]

Dark Age Era[edit]

Cadha fought as Executive Officer of the Grey Watch during the Battle of Northwind, distinguishing herself in the retaking of Tara's HPG, on 9 December 3150.[3][4]

After the Highlanders' victory, she joined the battalion of the Grey Watch which traveled to Terra to fight in the Battle of Terra, fighting for the survival of the Republic up until the battle of Dumfries. There, Colonel Michael Griffith was killed during the fighting, so Cadha replaced him as commander of the Grey Watch battalion and led them at the charge against the Wolves. The battle was futile, however, as Tara Campbell had to surrender to save her Highlanders.[5]

IlClan Era[edit]

Cadha returned to Northwind first, along with Lady Maeve Stirling, carrying the news of the defeat, along with a message from the Ghost Paladin Emil, which freed the Highlanders from their Covenant with the Republic.[6]

After the surviving Highlanders returned to Northwind, Jaffray became the commanding officer of the newly reformed regimental First Kearny. As that, she travelled to the planet Tybalt to sign a defensive contract with Loren Hansen, the Hansen's Roughriders commanding officer, to protect that planet.[7]

BattleMech[edit]

Cadha Jaffray's only known 'Mech was a HGN-732 Highlander.[3]
