MechWarrior Cara was a MechWarrior, who served in Clan Nova Cat's 179th Striker Cluster, as of 3058.[1]

In 3058 Cara was part of a Alpha Battle Star, under the command of a Star Captain Ithon Deleportas, which formed part of Star Colonel Santin West's 179th Striker Cluster, which was stationed on the world of Tarnby.
On 25 July, Cara participated in the defense of the HPG compound in the city of New Lorton on Tarnby, against a raid by what appeared to be a Clan Smoke Jaguar force. The attackers were however a disguised unit from the Northwind Highlanders, being elements of the Stirling's Fusiliers under Major Loren Jaffray, who were seeking to provoke a Nova Cat reprisal raid on the Smoke Jaguar forces on Wayside to relieve their own comrades fighting on that world. After a fierce engagement, during which the covert Highlanders managed to send a HPG message to Wayside in order to provide a trail for the Nova Cats to follow back, Star Colonel West offered the supposed Smoke Jaguar's Hegira and allowed them to retreat off-world.[1][2]
