Carolina Devalis was the head of First Lord Simon Cameron's security detail during his ill-fated Peace Tour in 2751. An alumni of the University of Hawaii who majored in astrophysics, she also inherited from the women of the Devalis bloodline a tendency to experience visions.[1]
History[edit]
Just prior to their debarkation at a mining site on New Silesia Devalis suddenly collapsed after brushing a Cameron Star on one of the Ascendant's bulkheads. While the First Lord comforted her Devalis relayed to him the vision she had just had: the Cameron Star going supernova and leaving behind a rage and pain-filled pulsar. Devalis begged Cameron to cancel the visit, but the First Lord reassured her that the Star League would be stronger than ever and proceeded with the tour that would end in his death. During his final moments as a sabotaged mining robot killed him, Cameron realized that Devalis' vision had been true, and that his young son Richard would be the pulsar left behind by his passing.[1]
Devalis subsequently had at least one child, Isabella Devalis, who went on to become one of the first warriors of Clan Nova Cat and founder of the Devalis Bloodhouse[2]
