Catapult Hero - Jester is a short story published for MechWarrior Online.
Plot summary[edit]
The short story provides the background of MechWarrior Leigh Voss and her personal BattleMech Jester.
Canonicity[edit]
Although MechWarrior Online Legends as such does not fall under the current criteria for canon, the fiction for the Hero 'Mechs written by Randall N. Bills—who at the time was also the incumbent BattleTech Line Developer at Catalyst Game Labs—was expressly declared fully canonical. This ruling was however reversed in January 2025 by Bills' successor Ray Arrastia[1], such that these short stories are not canonical, and can only be considered Apocryphal.
