As of 3052, Christine Rosenfeld was among the ComStar personnel stationed on Tukayyid. During the ongoing Battle of Tukayyid on May 7 3052, Rosenfeld would deal with an unusual case, interviewing a captured prisoner claiming to be Tai-i Adam Kaningamu, who rather than being killed on Constance in 3050 as believed insisted he'd been taken as a bondsman by Clan Ghost Bear before surrendering to ComStar with his bondkeeper Cymril Tseng as his prisoner during the fighting in Luk.[1]
Agent Rosenfeld admitted while his story was not impossible, ComStar's agreement to return any prisoners taken during the battle to their respective Clans complicated matter, along with concerns that Kaningamu was in truth an operative for another intelligence agency attempting deep-cover infiltration. Though he offered his blood to authenticate his identity, Rosenfeld revealed ComStar had already made alternate in-person arrangements to prove he was Adam Kaningamu, with Sho-sho David Vivas and ISF agent Malik Feff arriving from Shirotori on May 8 3052.[1]
With Adam easily seeing through a rudimentary deception to proof himself to his friend, Agent Rosenfeld apologized for holding him but insisted that they needed to be sure of his identity. Accompanying the Combine trio as they visited Cymril Tseng, after Adam revealed he had secretly been recording detailed insider intelligence he offered to turn his former bondkeeper to Rosenfeld repatriation to his Clan as mandated, but the now dezgra Tseng stridently refused with Kaningamu instead making him his bondsman.[1]
