Ciro Oquendo y Ramirez was a Lyran Commonwealth noble and eventual Clan Jade Falcon warrior.
History[edit]
Early years[edit]
Ciro was born in a wealthy and privileged family. His upbringing convinced him that his breeding made him better than others and he looked down on anyone not of the nobility.[3]
Academy[edit]
Ciro graduated from the Nagelring as part of the class of '49 alongside Victor Steiner-Davion. During 3048 he was bested by Victor Steiner-Davion during the tactical simulation tests[2][3].
He scored in the top five percent and was assigned as an aide to academy instructor Adam Steiner, an assignment he despised.[1][3].
Jade Falcons[edit]
Ciro was taken as a bondsman by Clan Jade Falcon on Romulus in April 3050.[4]
Becoming a fervent supporter of the Falcons, Ciro would earn his place as a Warrior prior to 3055.[3] That year Ciro was captured during a Federated Commonwealth raid jointly led by his former commander Adam Steiner and Crescent Hawks CO Jason Youngblood. Returned to the Federated Commonwealth, Ciro was placed on trial for treason against the realm of his birth. This raised the question what counted as treason, and whether being a bondsman to a Clan counted as brainwashing.[5]
BattleMechs[edit]
During his time with the Strikers, he piloted a Wolfhound. After becoming a bondsman (and later Warrior) of Clan Jade Falcon, he would pilot Adam Steiner's captured Axman, until it was recovered. He switched to a Timber Wolf OmniMech afterwards.
