MechWarrior Clifford Carney was a MechWarrior with the Kell Hounds mercenary unit.[1]
History[edit]
Clifford Carney served in the Battalion Command Lance of Second Company, Second Battalion at the Kell Hounds final action during the Battle of Mallory's World in 3016.[2] In January 3052, Carney participated in the Battle of Luthien against Clan Smoke Jaguar and Clan Nova Cat. He also served in the same lance as Morgan Kell.[1][3]

Clifford's last name is spelled as "Varney" in a later portion of Luthien. Currently, there is no information confirming which is correct.[3]
