Collin Carlyle was a notable officer in the Ryuken-go during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Tai-i Carlyle and the Ryuken-go were stationed on Ozawa in April 3149 when the planet came under attack from the Republic of the Sphere's Operation ERUPTIO. The Ryuken-go and assisting First Ghost Regiment put up a fierce resistance that cost the Republic heavily and forced them to call in additional reinforcements to break the stalemate. Before the Ryuken-go were pushed off-world, Carlyle managed to down an enemy assault 'Mech with a direct headshot, allowing him to replace the BattleMech he would lose later in the battle. During the fighting on Robinson later the same year, Carlyle would eliminate a further four 'Mechs of the XI Principes Guards before the Ryuken-go once again withdrew from combat. Rumors following the clash on Robinson held that Carlyle would soon be promoted to Sho-sa, although—since his unit held no open slots for that rank—he would likely be transferred to a unit such as the Ryuken-roku in order to receive said promotion.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Tai-i Collin Carlyle piloted a King Crab BattleMech during the fighting on Robinson, which he had captured almost intact on Ozawa.[1]
