The Concord system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as of June 3152 was located in the Silver Hawks Coalition in the Free Worlds League.[1]

Concord is located near the Danais and Uhuru systems.[2][3]

System History[edit]

The Concord system was colonized during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra,[4] and by the early twenty-fifth century had been incorporated into the Free Worlds League.[5]

Following a string of defeats between 2416 and 2418 at the hands of Captain-General Peter Marik, the Lyran Commonwealth launched a renewed attack on the Free Worlds League in 2420. Due to political maneuverings within the Free Worlds League Parliament, the creation of the War Powers Act of 2418 strongly curtailed the powers of the Captain-General, leaving Peter Marik unwilling to accept the role again; Parliament appointed one of Peter Marik's officers, a respected general named Joseph Stewart to the role, but while Stewart was a capable officer he lacked the grasp of strategy needed for interstellar warfare. As a result, the Lyran offensive captured the worlds of Amity and Danais before routing Stewart's League forces in the Concord system.[5]

In late 3055, an unnamed terrorist organization seized a cargo station located at the system's L2 Legrange Point. The latest FWLM DropShip class, a Hamilcar, was dispatched to the system and showcased its capabilities. A jump-capable BattleMech lance lanced on the station and vented the atmosphere from the large cargo doors, while the second lance landed on the hull of the terrorist's Mule DropShip. Unable to respond effectively or target the enemy forces on their hull, the terrorists quickly surrendered.[20]
