Coriolanus Vickers was a Bloodnamed officer in the Wolf Empire's Ninth Wolf Guard during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Star Captain Coriolanus was serving with the Ninth Wolf Guard during the Battle of Skye when he encountered a Clan Jade Falcon Summoner and Hierofalcon in the fighting for New London. The Wolf MechWarrior's supercharger malfunctioned early in the clash and damaged his fusion engine but Coriolanus refused to retreat as the Falcon BattleMechs advanced on him. He responded by first luring the Falcons away from Skye's civilians before eliminating the Hierofalcon with PPC fire, leaving the Summoner to exchange salvoes with him in an isolated industrial park. A shot from the Summoner drove Coriolanus' 'Mech to its knees but, when the Falcon warrior jumped over him to deal the finishing blow from behind, he used the small laser on the back of his machine's head to ignite his foe's missile ammunition. He took the badly injured Summoner pilot as his bondsman and later reported the success of his BattleMech to his superior officers.[1]
