Hauptmann Townshead, with the First Lyran Regulars, participated in the reclaimed of Sevren from the Draconis Combine in 3024.[1]
For his actions on Sevren, including singlehandedly taking out a Combine pillbox which had cut down half of his Assault Company, Townshead was awarded the Commonwealth Medal of Honor.[1]
