Dale McMurphy was a notable officer in the Free Worlds League's Eighth Free Worlds Guards.[1]
History[edit]
When Captain McMurphy's parents divorced, his mother used her ties to Tamarind to take him far from his father and sister and encouraged him to always strive for superiority over his sibling. As such, the two began a cutthroat rivalry that caused the extended members of the McMurphy family to dread the moment when the Eighth Free Worlds Guards and Eighth Lyran Regulars clashed in battle. McMurphy's drive to best his sister enabled him to become one of the youngest captains in the Free Worlds Guards but his recklessness and reputation as a party animal posed a significant risk to his career progress if he did not work to temper himself.[1]
