As of June 3054, Damien was attached to the FWLM 15th Marik Militia as a member of Colonel Nancy Rezac's command lance, alongside Bill Thomas and Greg Dixon. The unit protected Berenson's Blakist-controlled HPG station. That month, mercenaries - hired by an undercover Word of Blake Precentor as part of a false flag operation - approached the station with intent to investigate it, spurring a fight. During the battle, the Precentor in charge of the station weaponized it, firing an electomagnetic pulse into the fray, accidentally destroying Damien's 'Mech and him with it.[1]
Harrison, Damien's brother and fellow Blakist MechWarrior, considered the mercenaries to be at fault and sought revenge.[3]

At the time of his death, Damien piloted a newly received Grand Crusader.[1]
