Dan Meehan was a notable officer of the First Avalon Hussars Light Combat Team during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Leftenant Meehan graduated from his military academy training and quickly came to the attention of Major General Jack Tallman of the First Avalon Hussars, who heard the newly-minted MechWarrior had set an exceptional example to his fellow cadets. When the First Hussars fought against the Forty-fifth Benjamin Regulars on Clovis, he disobeyed his superiors' orders in order to continue fighting against Draconis Combine troops who were destroying civilian structures in an attempt to unearth nonexistent Federated Suns military forces. While charges were brought against Meehan for his disobedience, dozens of civilians testified that he had saved their lives with his actions, leading to the charges being summarily dismissed.[1]
