Daniel Zibler was commanding officer of Charlie Battalion of the Davion Assault Guards as of 3146.[1]
History[edit]
During the Battle of New Avalon, Major Zibler and the Davion Assault Guards were hard-pressed by the large number of OmniMechs used by the Ryuken-hachi as shock troops. As the Guards' forces suffered mounting casualties, Zibler was killed from an extreme range when Chu-i Sharanjeet Singh landed a blow that decapitated his BattleMech. His sudden death and the break in the chain of command it caused led the morale of Zibler's soldiers to plummet, ultimately hastening the Draconis Combine's victory in the battle for the Federated Suns' capital world.[1]
