Dark Age: 3136 Levin's List was originally a subsection of pages presented on LinkNet, the official website for the MechWarrior: Dark Age (MWDA) game, presented as Want Ads: Announcements, For Sale, Jobs, Lost and Found, Personals, Services, and the ubiquitous (and likely most entertaining) Miscellaneous.
When Topps, Inc. discontinued the MWDA game and took the website down, Catalyst Game Labs began to host the entries, assembled in a downloadable in PDF document initially named Dark Age: LinkNet Articles (3136) (and later, after the main BattleTech website was moved and the download section reworked, simply DA 3136 LinkNet). The nine-page document has no cover, but it and contains a "Welcome to Linknet" page, a summary of what LinkNet was, and numerous articles posted on an in-universe weekly schedule.
