Dean Forney was the commanding officer of the Federated Commonwealth's Pherkad Operations Area as of 3050.[1]

Leutnant-General Forney, serving under Hauptmann-General Francis Bergsma, was executive officer of the Lyran Commonwealth's Tharkad Military District in 3025.[2] By 3050, now-Field Marshal Forney was commanding officer of the Pherkad Operations Area in the Lyran Commonwealth's Donegal March.[1] Following the Clan Invasion and the Pherkad OA's reassignment to the Tamar March, Forney continued to command the region by 3054.[3]
