Deflin Saunders was a chemistry academic, in the Federated Suns, as of 3025.[1]

Saunders was the Dean, of the New Avalon Institute of Science's College of Chemistry, until shortly before 3025. His tenure however ended in scandal, after he was caught selling scientific secrets developed at the college, to private companies.[1]
