Denice Eastmoreland was the commanding officer of the Ninth Benjamin Regulars as of 3025.[1]

Tai-sho Eastmoreland, serving with the Ninth Benjamin Regulars, was stationed on Proserpina in 3025.[1]
During the Fourth Succession War, Eastmoreland and the Ninth Regulars invaded the Federated Suns world of Klathandu IV in November 3028 but were stopped in their push for the capital city of Klanthis by the well-trained and well-equipped Klathandu Militia. Several months of reconnaissance and close observation allowed Eastmoreland's Regulars to push hard against the Militia and, by late July 3029, the city of Klanthis was under direct threat. The arrival of the Raman Draconis March Militia in August once again slowed the Ninth Regulars' offensive, although the DMM suffered catastrophic casualties in order to stop Eastmoreland's advance. Another counterattack from First Battalion of the newly-created First FedCom RCT met with similar results when Eastmoreland's Third Battalion killed or injured most of the unit's warriors.[2]
Despite a string of victories against numerous opposing units, the tenacious defense put up by the First FedCom, Raman DMM, and the Klathandu Militia succeeded in badly slowing the Ninth Regulars' campaign. As a result of these delays, the Draconis Combine was forced to abandon its planned attack against Xhosa VII in order to retain its hold on Klathandu IV.[2]
