The Dichell system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 2750 was located in the Apollo Province of the Rim Worlds Republic.[1][2]

Dichell is located near the Heidelburg and Mearra systems.[1][2]

Star League Era[edit]

Dichell was either settled at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location at this point.[1][2][5]

Dichell became part of the Rim Worlds Republic and after the Amaris Coup it was attacked by the Star League Defense Force. It saw heavy fighting. Their cities were devastated and its population decimated. In an area known as the Gullies, composed of creeks and canyons, the Rim Worlds used nukes to delay the SLDF, contaminating the area, but it didn't prevented their defeat. But despite the devastation, Dichell remained alive. Most of his surviving population fled, but some thousands of locals rebuilt some cities, now as little towns. The biological and radioactive hotspots contaminated big areas, while other remained inhabitable.[34]

Succession Wars[edit]

Dichell vanished from maps during the First Succession War[13] indicating that the system had been abandoned, depopulated or rendered too insignificant to continue noting its location.

Dark Age[edit]

Still populated, Dichell remained alive, though barely. Without any known industry, and without high population, it lacked any militia. On November 3148, Sarah's Slammers attacked the planet, raiding and enslaving the locals, but two mysterious Junkers, Halloran Hallis and Ansel, crushed them before departing.[34]
