Star Commander Dimitri earned distinction during the battle against Clan Jade Falcon's Turkina Keshik on Skye, when his unit was tasked with keeping the Falcon forces in place while the Ninth Wolf Guards hit them from behind. Over the course of the battle, Dimitri repelled numerous Falcon assaults with his Gauss rifle fire but was soon left as the sole surviving officer in his Trinary as casualties mounted. When multiple Falcon warriors launched a final charge even as the remainder of their Cluster disengaged, Dimitri encouraged his warriors to stand firm while simultaneously deriding the capabilities of the "savage" Falcons. Although he suffered severe injuries after two of his BattleMech's Gauss rifles detonated, his warriors succeeded in holding their position against the final Falcon push.[1]

Star Commander Dimitri Kerensky piloted a Crucible BattleMech, one of the first to be assigned to a frontline unit.[1]
