Dante Rice, which might be an alias, served with ComStar and Republic of the Sphere intelligence apparatuses in 3136.[3][1]

Born in 3105, Rice was described as having Cherokee Amerindian features, with black hair and eyes. He was a covert ROM agent that officially worked for the Republic's Department of Military Intelligence.[1][2]
He was a frequent LinkNet poster under the name "Dionysus," "Dion," or simply "D."[1]
On or about 15 July 3136 on the planet Gethsemane of the Augustine system Rice was present for a nuclear terrorist attack on a mining facility. Believed to be perpetrated by neo-Blakists, the facility was defended by mercenaries. Details are scarce but Rice was implicated in the death of two other intelligence agents, and then deserted. A warrant was issued for his arrest describing him as armed and extremely dangerous.[4][1][3]
Sporadic sightings in later years associated him with several other people who were on the Republic and ComStar watch lists such as Miguel Medinoche, Stefka and Yeska Riviera.[1]
