Drake Hawkins was a Leutnant in the Third Lyran Guards.[1]

When Hawkins was new to the Third, but already walked with the swagger of a veteran as if his ancestors' many great deeds were his own. This was not received well by his colleagues. His namesake is Nelson Drake.[1]

Hawkins was a Regular MechWarrior (Gunnery 4, Piloting 5) with the Range Master (Long) Special Piloting Ability. Possessing Range Master also requires Hawkins to have Sniper.[1][2]
