The Duchy of Small was a Chaos March nation containing the worlds of Small World and Ingress. Both these worlds were settled during the first wave of colonization efforts from the Terran Hegemony. Over time these two worlds would be controlled by the Hegemony, Capellan Confederation, Federated Commonwealth, and Tikonov Free Republic.[1]
During the chaos of Operation GUERRERO, Small World's noble ruler Blake Small declared it an independent world. No challenge was made by the Federated Commonwealth. After several months of independent operations, Small World sent some ambassadors to Ingress and three days after their arrival, Ingress agreed to join the newly formed Duchy of Small.[2]
Small World itself was reclaimed by the Federated Suns in 3066 during the FedCom Civil War, becoming part of the Draconis March. [3]
