Edward "Joe" Brevan was a notable warrior in the Hikage Regiment during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Chu-i Brevan was extremely eager to join the ranks of the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery and rushed through his studies at the Sun Zhang Military Academy as a result. Upon graduation, he was given command of a lance of the Hikage and spent a number of additional months training before the unit was deployed as a counter to the Federated Suns' Operation PERCEVAL. Brevan lead his lance into his first battle and was immediately challenged to a one-on-one duel by the pilot of a FedSuns Inferno. With both his lancemates and company commander questioning his ability to lead, Brevan accepted the proffered duel and soon battered his opponent to the ground with a barrage of PPC fire. Unfortunately, while he was waiting for the Davion pilot to surrender, Brevan's enemy mustered the strength for a final shot that directly impacted his cockpit and left him with heavy injuries.[1]
As a result of his defeat, Brevan was forced to justify his continued presence in the elite Hikage and promised to never demonstrate mercy to an opponent again.[1]
