Judicial Career[edit]
From 3007 until 3017, Count Defano was a judge on the Federated Suns' Highest Court, the Court of the Old Bailey on New Avalon. However, he found the case load dry and boring, and therefore retired after he had served from ten years.[1]
Federated Arbitrators and Judges Inc.[edit]
Following his retirement, due to a desire to work on cases which had a more immediate impact on real people, Count Defano founded Federated Arbitrators and Judges Inc.. In this role, he travelled across the Federated Suns, arbitrating inter-planetary civil disputes in a way which guaranteed fast results which could not be provided by the official legal system.[1]
