History[edit]
By 3136 she was told the press that the Bryant Planetary Militia 'Mechs, military DropShips, and aerospace fighters were shipped to Terra, and even though she confirmed this would alleviate the planet's economy, RAF assurances on support from nearby worlds or the world no longer being important were not much appreciated and indeed contested.[1]
She clashes with Becca Jareque, the provisional governor of Bryant since the abrupt retirement of her predecessor, have emphasized a relationship between the two that is almost as stormy as the planet's climate. Welles has gone on record denouncing several of Jareque's policy proposals, including agro-production quotas for off-world exports, and the commissioning of expensive exploratory missions into Bryant's weather-ravaged interior regions.[2]
Quotes[edit]
“ | "Just because we don't have anything of value to an invading army doesn’t mean we're safe from attack, After all, such considerations never seemed to deter any of the House Lords and Clans who made our past so bloody." |
