Elvis Grissom was a notable MechWarrior in the Twelfth Deneb Light Cavalry.[1]

Leftenant Grissom was imprisoned in a Draconis Combine POW camp on Dieron for six years while awaiting the payment of his ransom. Ultimately, the ransom wasn't paid as Grissom cooperated with an infamous BattleMech thief in order to make his own escape from the prison. After staging a mass breakout, Grissom and his compatriot used the chaos to sneak into a local Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery garrison and hijacked two Combine 'Mechs. Grissom and his thief friend parted ways as he returned to the Federated Suns, where he steadfastly refused to reveal the identity of the person who aided in his escape from captivity.[1]
