Enrique Arlene was a Lyran Commonwealth combat vehicle crewman, and later actor, during the thirty-first century.[1]

History[edit]

Arlene was serving in the 343rd Tamar Heavy Armor Regiment in 3024, as a tank crewman, when he participated in a Lyran raid on the Draconis Combine world of Moritz. Abandoned by the faster elements of their raiding unit, who were ordered to rush to the relief of allied forces some distance away who were under pressure by Combine defenders, Arlene's tank "Mama's Boy" under the command of Senior Corporal Diana Holister began searching for targets of opportunity. Locating a well hidden fuel dump some 30 KMs to the east, which initially seemed an easy target, the tank crew soon discovered it was defended by a Combine Spider BattleMech. This resulted in an extended two hour battle, through the flaming and smoking remains of the fuel depot, from which "Mama's Boy" ultimately emerged from victorious.

This victory was seized on by the manufacturer of "Mama's Boy", Aldis Industries, who heavily promoted it as an example of the success which could be achieved using their product. This caused the crew of "Mama's Boy", including Arlene, Holister, Arthur Jones, Lawrence Rashide and Nick Hyde, to all receive a commendation and a promotion. In addition they were also all given starring roles in a children's action holovid series, produced by Aldis Industries' Terra based entertainment industry subsidiary Inner Sphere Productions called Thunder Patrol!, providing the crew with a new career as actors.[1][2]

Vehicle[edit]

Arlene was known to have crewed a Behemoth heavy tank, nicknamed "Mama's Boy".[1]
