Erik Feraru was a notable MechWarrior of the Wolf Empire's touman during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Born on New Olympia, Feraru served with the Marik Militia for eight years before his capture by Clan Wolf following the fall of Keystone. When the rest of his lancemates broke and fled, Feraru was left surrounded by a Cluster of Wolves while defending the planet's Earthwerks factory. In an effort to hold the line, Feraru challeneged one of the Wolf Trinaries to a Trial of Possession for control of the facility and, when his Trial was accepted by a baffled Star Commander, he proceeded to eliminate seven hostile BattleMechs over the course of an hour. Feraru's judicious use of Inferno munitions ultimately torched much of the Earthwerks factory and caused him to fall unconscious due to the intense heat, although the powerful life support systems possessed by his 'Mech prevented him from dying. Subsequently captured by the Wolves and rechristened as Bondsman Erik, the former Marik warrior's machine was also salvaged and repaired for use in his future position in one of the Wolf Empire's garrison Clusters.[1]
