The Estuan system is the location of at least one inhabited world or construct and as of 3145 was an independent system located in Periphery close to the borders of the Calderon Protectorate, Federated Suns and Filtvelt Coalition.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

The Estuan system is located near the Agliana and Naka Pabni systems.[1][2]

System History[edit]

The Estuan system was either colonized by the Taurian Concordat during or shortly before the Age of War,[3][4][5] or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this era for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location on maps.

A pirate food raid in 3029 was repulsed successfully, leaving all but Jerry Rogers from the pirate band wiped out. Roger's lone vehicle led a pursuing force of BattleMechs and infantry on a chase ending in the middle of Estuan's capital city, at the end of which the seemingly abandoned vehicle self-destructed with an explosion which leveled surrounding buildings and killed the pursuing force.[38]

After the Malagrotta Cooperative seceded from the Federated Suns Estuan suddenly found itself to be on the border between the Federated Suns and the new Cooperative. Following the coup within the Cooperative in mid 3075 the Islamabad CrMM worked with the Remagen CrMM to establish a range of pickets on Federated Suns worlds bordering the Cooperative, one of which was Estuan. By the end of 3075 Estuan was home to a substantial body of CrMM troops bolstered by additional conventional regiments.[39][40]
