Evelyn Hokna was the commanding officer of the Fifth Company of the Twenty-first Centauri Lancers' Security Lancers during the Jihad.[1]
History[edit]
Captain Hokna was given the opportunity to organize the Security Lancers' armored infantry company after the Twenty-first Centauri Lancers received some of the first Gray Death Legion suits. Fascinated by battle armor since the first rumors of their prowess leaked out from those units that survived the Clan Invasion, Hokna eagerly accepted her new assignment and used the Focht War College facilities on Tukayyid to rapidly train her command. Hokna also took the opportunity to discuss operational tactics with Clan Nova Cat Elementals, including Khan Santin West himself. When the Word of Blake assaulted Tukayyid at the start of the Jihad, the Twenty-first Lancers' commander was determined to prevent the unit's dependents from being used as hostages as they had been during Operation Odysseus a decade prior. Working with the Killer Bees' JumpShip Queen Bee, Hokna and her armored soldiers were able to evacuate the Lancers' wounded soldiers and the unit's dependents from Tukayyid.[1]
