Explosive ammunition are special warheads attached to the tips of slug-thrower rounds or arrows/quarrels and explode on contact, causing tremendous damage to any human target. Besides being more expensive though, explosive ammunition lacks in armor penetration and is unstable, resulting in premature detonation if mishandled.[1]
