The Fassieffern was a Scout-class JumpShip owned and operated by the 2nd Kearny Highlanders, a regiment within the Northwind Highlanders; the Fassieffern and her sister ship, the Dargai, were two of the ten JumpShips that made up the integrated transport fleet responsible for moving the entire combined regiment in 3067.[1]
As a part of the Second Kearny Fleet, the Fassieffern was under the overall command of Admiral Jacqueline Fredericks.[1]
