Star Captain Finn originally served in Clan Wolf-in-Exile's Third Wolf Guardians during the Battle of Arc-Royal but took up Khan Alaric Ward's offer of amnesty sometime afterwards. As a deadly marksman, Finn quickly returned to active duty and was assigned to Clan Wolf's Beta Galaxy alongside a new BattleMech. During the Battle of Skye, Finn and the Ninth Wolf Guards battled against Clan Jade Falcon. Finn used the improved speed of his new 'Mech to outmaneuver his foes and often struck against their weaker rear armor with his PPC, scoring three kills against warriors of Turkina Keshik. He was also observed executing three downed pilots with PPC shots to their cockpits, although his superior officers turned a blind eye to these acts of vengeance.[1]

Star Captain Finn piloted a Pack Hunter BattleMech while serving with the Wolf Empire.[1]
