Lieutenant Florence Milhaus was a member of the Heavy Lance ("The Cataphracts"), Kenner's Company, Able Battalion, Alpha Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons from at least 3019 until 3028.[1]

Hesperus II[edit]
In 3019, Milhaus participated in the Dragoons' deep penetration raid on Hesperus II while under Marik employ, initially under Lieutenant Angel Dumphries, in the Heavy Lance of "Able First" Company (i.e. Kenner's Company) under newly appointed Captain Lucas Kenner.[2]
On Dumphries' death during this campaign however, Milhaus received temporary command of the Heavy Lance,[3] which later became permanent in 3023.[1]
Cataphracts[edit]
After taking full command of her lance, Milhaus nicknamed her unit the Cataphracts, reflecting her interest in ancient Byzantine history. This name, for which Milhaus also designed a lance badge of a stylized armored horse's head, carried the lance through a number of major engagements.[1]
Misery[edit]
Milhaus participated in the Battle of Misery in 3028, still in command of her Heavy Lance, and died a proud and honorable death during the fighting. Her lance destroyed two Kurita lances as they were wiped out.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Florence Milhaus was known to pilot a BattleMaster BattleMech.[1][2]
