Fortuna Pannichello was a freelance mercenary MechWarrior during the Dark Age and ilClan Eras.[1][2]
History[edit]
Fortuna and her sister Gloria were raised by a mercenary father, who ran a small mercenary unit prior to the Pax Republica. Her father did not support Devlin Stone's Military Materiel Redemption Program, providing both his daughters with a 'Mech as their inheritance, together with training to prepare for when war returned to the Inner Sphere.[1]
Fortuna was generally in charge of obtain work for the sisters, but based on their father's views, they both refused to accept jobs from the Republic of the Sphere.[3]
In 3152 the Governing Board of the Almotacen Hiring Hall found the Pannichello sisters in "flagrant and unwarranted breach…of contract" and declared them bandits.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Fortuna piloted a NX-33-L Nyx BattleMech, nicknamed "Fortune".[1]
Notes[edit]
The concept of the Pannichello sisters was credited to Vic Bonilla.[4]
