Francois Wang rose to command of the 1st Syrtis Fusiliers. He was a Major in the Davion Heavy Guards and was promoted two ranks when assigned to command the 1st. He was not the exception: many of the unit's personnel that were drawn in from Capellan March personnel stationed in non-March units.[1]
