Fred Laurencin was the commanding officer of Mobile Fire as of 3039.[2]
History[edit]
During the War of 3039, Laurencin served under Colonel Quintin Moore as executive officer of Mobile Fire. During the Draconis Combine assault against the city of Lazarus Bay on Konstance, the soldiers of Mobile Fire put their urban warfare skills to good use while resisting the Third and Twenty-second Dieron Regulars. In the course of the battle, Moore was killed by the Combine attackers, leaving Laurencin in command of Mobile Fire.[2]
By 3050, now-Colonel Laurencin commanded Mobile Fire under contract with the Federated Commonwealth. At this time, Laurencin had battalions stationed on Khon Kaen, Maduin, and Son Hoa—where they remained by 3054.[1][3]
Following the FedCom Civil War, those elements of Mobile Fire loyal to Donald Moore removed Laurencin from command of the unit and broke contract with the Lyran Alliance in order to sign on with the Word of Blake.[4]
