Fredrick Johansson was a tank operator in the Thirty-sixth Pathfinder Company of the Eighth Crucis Lancers' 144th Federated Cavalry Regiment during the Federated Commonwealth Civil War.[1]
History[edit]
Working under Sergeant Leonard Hernden, Johansson and his tank commander proved themselves to be consummate professionals in limited engagements during the Clan Invasion. After the outbreak of the FedCom Civil War, Johansson's vehicle became the Thirty-sixth Pathfinders' command unit following the death of the company commander in action on Proserpina. In an attempt to overcome the defenses surrounding the planet's Bulldog Enterprises facility, Hernden and Johansson successfully located a weak point in the Draconis Combine's perimeter and lead an entire combat brigade through the defensive line and into the factory. For this service, Hernden was promoted to leftenant and Johansson to sergeant, with both tankers also receiving the Diamond Sunburst award for their role in the battle.[1]
