The Furud system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as of 3145 was located in the Duchy of Andurien.[1][2]

The Furud system is located near the Scarborough and Shiro III systems.[3]

System History[edit]

The Furud system was colonized at some point in the late twenty-third or early twenty-fourth century and was a member of the Sian Commonwealth prior to the formation of the Capellan Confederation.[4][5]

Third Succession War[edit]

In late 3011, the Free Worlds League attacked Furud. However, thanks to the delaying efforts of Wolf's Dragoons on Wallacia and Scarborough, the invaders faced fresh Capellan troops. Furud would fall to the Marik forces, but they would take extensive losses which slowed their overall offensive.[20]

The Jihad[edit]

On 7 February 3076 Blakist forces attempted to strike at the JumpShip transporting Magestrix Naomi Centrella-Liao while it was in the Furud system en route back to Sian from Canopus. The Duchy of Andurien had signed a nonaggression pact with the Capellan Confederation and the Magistracy of Canopus in 3075, and Andurien aerospace fighters successfully repelled the Blakist strike force, disrupting their attempt to assassinate the Magestrix.[42][43]
