Gaffa Pardoe was the commanding officer of the Eighty-ninth BattleMech Division's Third RCT in the 2700s.[1][2]

In late 2703, the Zero aerospace fighter participated in its first combat sorties above New Roland. Elite covert units of the Rim Worlds Republic had been raiding along the Capellan and Federated Suns borders for months until General Gaffa Pardoe was able to engage them on New Roland, as the RWR units were bombing the cities of Kujan Minor and Hickston. Though fielding a Dart-class Cruiser and other WarShips, the RWR flotilla eventually fell to the SLDF naval forces. This was greatly aided by a surprise flanking maneuver by the Zeros and supporting Chippewa fighters. The Rim Worlds denied any involvement in this affair, labeling the raiders as "renegades."[1][2]
