The Galatean mole was a species of animal native to Galatea. The burrowing predator resembled a Terran mole or rodent, though it bore no relation. It was the top native predator on Galatea's surface.[1][2]
One particular mole weighed approximately three to four kilograms, and was half a meter long. It had brown fur, a rounded muzzle, bright eyes, and needle-sharp teeth capable of biting deep into a wooden board.[2]
