Geddy West was the commanding officer of the Quinta Cohors of the II Legio as of 3070.[1] [2] [3]
History[edit]
Legatus West, commanding the II Legio's Quinta Cohors, was stationed on Paulinus in 3067, alongside the Secunda Cohors.[1]. With the II Legio forces charged with maintaining control of the former Lothian League world in the face of rebellion, West's Quinta Cohors was assigned to keep peace in the cities and assist Legatus Eren Tloth's Secunda Cohors maintain control of the world.[2] [3]
Unfortunately Geddy West had learned of rumors of a Star League era research facility on Paulinus and eager to secure Star League LosTech for Caesar Julius O'Reilly made the disastrous decision to send his Quinta Cohors out to find it, only to uncover a Dukempic Foods Flavor Research Center dedicated to exobiology research focused on foodstuff production. As Lothian rebels aided by mercenary forces and an unknown third force fighting with Black Warriors tactics struck the Secunda Cohors, West's troops were out of position resulting in Legatus Eren Tloth's forces taking over sixty percent casualties and having to evacuate off-world. In a post-action report to the Caesar Legatus Tloth was scathing of West's glory seeking actions and refused to accept blame for the loss of Paulinus for the Hegemony.[2] [3]
